Role and Responsibilities

Mind Right is a provider of psychological treatment services to the personal injury and absence management markets.

The role of operations and Network Administrator is an exciting opportunity to be a part of this rapidly growing business. Supporting operational management of the business including referral handling, management of our network clinicians and supporting growth of the business through the expansion of our network in line with customer requirements.

The main purposes of the role will be to support the smooth operational delivery of psychological treatment services through sound management of referral processes and the network of independent clinicians. Supporting the Clinical Operations Manager, but with a high degree of autonomy, the right candidate will enable the business to deliver a service that will;

  • Support the achievement of Mind Right’s business and commercial objectives

The Right candidate may also have the opportunity to support the Senior Business Development manager with a range of account management activities.

Key Accountabilities

Operational Management

  • To manage inbound referrals, allocating them to appropriate clinicians on our network whilst being mindful of and attentive to the needs of our customers.
  • To manage independent clinicians, recruiting new clinicians to the network based on customer need, whilst following Mind Right recruitment processes.
  • To work with the clinical operations manager to develop and manage operational processes that contribute to Mind Right achieving the position of market leader in the UK psychological services market.
  • To support the clinical operations manager to regularly review operational processes and procedures, including the mix between independent and salaried staff and utilization of viable technology enhancements, to maintain a reducing trend in operational transaction cost.

People Management

  • To lead on the recruitment processes for independent network clinicians, in line with customer need and under the guidance of the clinical operations manager and senior business development manager.

Budget, Finance and Planning

  • To support the clinical operations manager and senior business development manager in contributing to the annual budget for the business, ensuring that appropriate resources are incorporated to deliver planned workloads whilst continually improving effectiveness and efficiency.

Quality

  • To carry out prompt and effective investigations of any complaints or service failures. Developing and implementing appropriate remedial actions when required. To report on these issues and actions to the clinical operations manager.

Clinical Standards

  • To ensure that the clinical expertise within the network is appropriate in terms of both scope and expertise. To support the clinical operations manager to manage processes to ensure that contractual specifics for all customers are met.
  • In conjunction with the clinical operations manager, to ensure the clinical skill sets of the network is maintained to current professional standards.

Sales and Marketing

  • To work with the senior business development manager by providing operational support to marketing and sales activity. This will include, but may not be limited to;
    • Provision of tailored proof of value management information (MI)
    • Potential account management responsibilities with key customer accounts

Corporate Responsibilities

  • To work in accordance with all Mind Right policies and procedures and specifically support the company’s objectives and responsibilities in relation to health & safety, equal opportunities and diversity

Person Specification

Experience

  • Relevant clinical knowledge is desired but not essential
  • Experience of working with a varied team of employed and independent staff
  • Experience of working with clinicians
  • Experienced in reviewing and managing the quality of reports
  • An understanding of the personal injury case management market, including motivating factors for key stakeholders is desired but not essential
  • An understanding of the absence management market, including motivating factors for key stakeholders is desired but not essential
